The need
Ormiston Senior College’s circumstances meant students weren’t eligible for Ministry-provided devices, and around 10% of students had no device at home. They were at a clear disadvantage when most teaching and learning happens in Google Classroom and some English, Business and History assessments are online.
The school raised funds to buy a few laptops, but around 90 were still needed. All 90 have now been delivered.
