The need

De La Salle College is a BYOD school, but many Year 9 and 10 students don’t have personal devices. With large classes, the pool of loan and faculty laptops couldn’t keep up, leaving students unable to use digital learning tools, complete assessments or join online platforms.

The immediate goal was to place devices permanently in junior classrooms; in the long term, students will take them home. There was no minimum spec: any laptop that can install ChromeOS Flex becomes a fast, secure machine for students.

Got a cupboard of old laptops?

You wipe them, we pick them up, and they go straight to a school that has asked for them.
